Lent Announcement

Hello, everyone,

 Next Wednesday, February 26th is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of the season of Lent. We will be having mid-week services Wednesday evenings throughout Lent. The plan is to have a light supper at 6:00 pm followed by the worship service at 7:00 pm. There will be a sign-up sheet in the entryway at church for you to sign up for providing one of the meals. All are invited to share in a potluck on Ash Wednesday. Ham will be provided for the meat. Please bring a side dish or dessert of your choice. I am attaching an article I have written about Ash Wednesday for your reflection. Please plan to start your Lenten remembrance by gathering for a meal and worship this coming Wednesday.
